Designed by Altaca Energy Engineering Group in cooperation with the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (Tübitak) and Bosporus University and built by Altaca Construction, the Gonen Renewable Energy Complex is Turkey's largest integrated bio-crude oil, biogas and organic fertilizer production plant.
Our Gonen Energy Facilities are established on a total area of 85,000 m2, is a fully environmentally friendly enterprise with its zero liquid waste discharge policy and highly developed flue gas treatment and heat recovery systems.
All raw materials used in the facilities are provided from cattle and poultry farms, slaughterhouses, agricultural enterprises and food factories in the immediate vicinity. In addition to the energy generated and organic fertilizer manufactured, elimination of 400 tons/day organic waste is very important for reducing the environmental pollution in Gonen and its surroundings.
